After the final war, the golden trio and company started to reproduce. However, quite a few of the children have yet to show magical tendencies. An unusual amount of squibs started to be produced in even pure blooded families. The squibs from some wizarding families have been attending all muggle schools with wizarding lessons on the weekends. Others, like those of pureblooded families, have been homeschooled. These lessons consist on learning the basis of magic, but no actual magic. For example; what the effects of a dementor are; magical creatures; effects of spells; recognizing curses; do potions smell? This is for the protection of the squibs, so they don’t get poisoned and can recognize the effects of what may be happening around them. However, Minvera McGonagal is Headmistress and doesn’t think there is enough being done to unify the seemingly ‘outcasts’. This summer at Hogwarts ‘Hogwarts Summer Camp for the Magical Families’ will include both squibs and wizarding students that attend Hogwarts. They will be broken into nine groups of six; three of each gender and a squib of each gender. Many squibs are excited to finally see Hogwarts and the grounds. Like Filch, they can see Hogwarts and magical beings. What the students have yet to learn is that small tasks will be set up to challenge the groups and bring them together as a team. These tasks include swimming challenges in the lake and the final task; a week camping in the Forbidden Forest. However, for now, the students are staying in dorm rooms located in tents that cover the school grounds. Their tents include several showers and other restroom appliances, a small common room and three sets of bunk beds. Plugs have been installed into the tents for squibs use and the spell has been lifted allowing laptops, iPods, etc. to work on the grounds. The students go into the school and use the Great Hall for meals all other passage ways in the school are blocked off. Most of the ‘secret’ passages were discovered during the reign of Umbridge and have since been locked for the summer. Alumni have come back to Hogwarts to serve as counsellors. McGonagall is excited to see all of the children of her former students all grown up. Will they get along is the question . . .
